82 Magdalena

We go back down the way we came and continue along Magdalena street to the next building:

82 MAGDALENA

Designed by Rodolfo Ucha in the second decade of the 20th century.

This is a typical Art Nouveau construction, which is notable for the height of its three floors. Also worth noting is the play on symmetry achieved with the layout of recesses, the dominance of the galleries and the use of whitewashed wood and wrought iron. The most outstanding aspects of this architectural composition are its brightness and desire to achieve a look of stylistic renewal.
