El Vilar

We continue along the road and at the crossroads, turn left onto the CP-3603 road which leads us to the beach known as El Vilar.

Also known as Covas beach, it´s worth a visit for its peace and quiet and the beautiful sight of the waves crashing into the rocks. It´s a windy beach in the shape of a shell with a length of 100 metres and a width of 22 metres, fine white sand and a strong swell. It is located in an area which is not excessively built up and is adjacent to the Fragata beach. Of the four beaches that make up the San Xurxo bay, this beach is the one most favoured by older people.
