Suizo Hotel

We go up Sánchez Barcáiztegui street towards:

SUIZO HOTEL (134 Real / Sanchez-Barcáiztegui / 65 Dolores)

This building was designed in 1913 by Rodolfo Ucha to be used as housing and for shops. However, in the end the developer Manuel Alba decided it should be a hotel in 1916. This large building displays an elegant turn-of-the-century eclecticism with a Parisian influence. The building is laid out around an interior central patio. Note the presence of a staircase with a large number of windows and bay windows which make up the different façades under a connecting cornice. Different ornamental comb motifs highlight the different aspects of the composition.
